CONCERN PLUS - A Leader in Behavioral Health Management

CONCERN PLUS is an employer-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (EAP) paired with the management of behavioral health benefits. The EAP component provides initial assessment, referral to the provider network and confidential EAP services. These services include therapeutic direction, support and understanding for employees and family members who may be experiencing difficulty with family, marital, psychological, psychiatric, alcohol and/or drug, stress, balance, medical or vocational problems.

CONCERN PLUS contracts with insurance carriers and employers to manage a full range of mental health and chemical dependency care. The following services are available:

• Employee assistance gateway program
• Comprehensive assessment and referral services
• WorkLife services
• Utilization review (including concurrent and retrospective review)
• Comprehensive proactive case management
• Proactive quality improvement system
• Exclusive panel of providers
• Computerized data analysis
• Tailored collaboration with Employee Assistance Programs
• Specialized chemical dependency services to corporate clients
• Third party administration (TPA)

The EAP component of CONCERN PLUS also provides an effective management tool for employers. Consultation and training provided to supervisors increase their effectiveness in identifying and referring troubled employees. CONCERN PLUS can provide employers with the opportunity to secure “fitness for duty” evaluations and meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding substance abuse. Critical incident stress debriefing is also available through CONCERN PLUS.
