My Personalized Health News

CONCERN offers a service called My Personalized Health News accessed through our Web site - www.concernservices.com. This program captures the spirit of a personalized newsletter, but offers much more. A member may customize and create his/her own monthly newsletter by selecting from more than 32 health topics. The articles come from nationally recognized health and news publications and are recent within the last 60 days. All sources are cited. The level of difficulty for the articles ranges from very basic and introductory news stories to science- and research- based articles.

Each month, members receive an email message from TriHealth stating that their new PHN newsletter has arrived. At any time members may choose to add or delete topics or to disenroll.

Another great feature is "My Health Reminders." By entering their age and gender members receive a listing of all recommended health screenings appropriate for them. The rationale and frequency also are given. Members may choose a reminder date for each year to receive an email message to have their screen(s) performed.

My Personal Health News also includes "My Baby Expectations."  Expectant parents (or other interested person) enter Mom's due date, and each month the member receivsan update on baby's development for that month and information parents need to know. This section also has information about what can be expected during baby's first year.

Finally, "My Health Links" provides dozens of great health-related Web sites categorized by topic.
