Enhanced Model of Service

The Enhanced Model of service delivery combines full service EAP and WorkLife programs with an emphasis on prevention, reduction and control of physiological and behavioral health risks.

Professional services included in the Enhanced Model:

  • Confidential assessment, short-term counseling of up to 10 sessions per event per client, with case management services
  • Telephone counseling
  • Assigned CONCERN professional staff member who serves as primary liaison for frequent communication with designated company representative to review utilization, assess progress , identify changing needs, look at program enhancement, develop strategies and review recommendations for program improvement
  • Letter of program introduction and brochures for household mailing
  • Assistance with policy development (EAP, Workplace Violence, Fitness for Duty, Substance Abuse)
  • EAP orientation for all employees, which increases trust and utilization
  • Promotional material provided on a monthly basis
  • Unlimited access to the CONCERN Web site, including Personalized Health News;
  • Initial supervisory training at your company site; quarterly supervisory training series offered at TriHealth locations; or online for your convenience
  • Quarterly Employee Enrichment Training (stress, change, conflict) provided at TriHealth location or online for your convenience
  • One hour of training per quarter at your organization’s site, or online, to address topics concerning work, daily living, team building, conflict management, relationships, family, etc.
  • On-site Critical Incident or Post Trauma Stress Debriefing to address traumatic work events such as an accident resulting in serious injury, sudden death of an employee, robbery, etc.
  • Consultation for supervisors, HR, etc. and case management services in Supervisory Performance and Fitness-for-Duty referrals
  • 24-hour telephone crisis-line accessibility
  • Emergency counseling sessions available Monday-Friday on an as needed basis
  • Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) assessments for regulatory compliance under Drug-free Workplace, Department of Transportation, or Bureau of Workers Compensation
  • On-site participation in company safety, health or benefit fairs
  • A reporting system that allows your company to monitor utilization and effectiveness of the program through quarterly utilization reports and client satisfaction reports
  • Employees can get answers to specific inquiries within two business days by telephone and e-mail through tools such as Ask-An-Expert and Ask-A-Counselor
  • My Personalized Health News can be e-mailed directly to the family’s computer each month with the most current articles from more than 300 health publications on 32 health topics
  • CONCERN WorkLife Services, an Internet-based service, focuses on the work/life issues facing all organizations
  • Specialized services to assist with legal, financial, and identity theft concerns.
